I went to Cal Poly, got a bachelor’s degree, the whole shebang.

But after getting marked down for writing too many jokes in my senior thesis, I realized a science career wasn’t for me.

I started working odd jobs trying to “find myself.” I was a scuba diver, a barista, and even a production assistant for the show Magnum P.I.

Even though I was clearly on a very important journey of self-discovery, my friends and family kept asking me to edit their assignments. Essays, resumes, and job applications were fair game. “Can you look at this?” they’d text me, followed by a notification in my inbox.

After each editing session they’d say, “You should do this full time.”

So here we are. I am 25, chronically online, and unleashing my content writing and copywriting upon the earth.
